[Rotary] Christmas at Rotary Park

Hi All,

Thanks to the eight volunteers, Erich, Donna, Harold, Gary, John C.,
Heather, Richard, and Kathleen who will decorate the Christmas Tree the
afternoon of Thursday 12/1 after our luncheon meeting and Guenter, who
will take picture at all the scheduled events at the tree..  Perhaps some
of the Interact group will join them after school.

Please join them if you can.

I have minor knee surgery that day and may miss both the lunch and the
decorating, thanks for stepping up.  I am out of town on 12/3, but will be
available on 12/17.  John P. will not be there on 12/1, he has his book
club that afternoon 2-4.

Matt is providing ladders.  I believe Gary is bringing the lights and
decorations.  If any of you have any decorations please bring them.  We
also need an extension cord to get power from the Mendo Café outlet.  I
have a timer that I will provide.  I also will provide candy canes for any
kids that come for the tree lighting on Saturday 12/3 at 5:00 PM.

Still looking for a Santa volunteer on Saturday 12/17 from 1 - 4 PM and
for someone to put up flyers for that event.

There, hopefully, will be advertising in the Beacon for both events.  Talk
up the event among your friends, especially those with children.
