[Rotary] Volunteers for Tree Decorating

Still looking for volunteers to help decorate our Christmas Tree  in Rotary

Matt is furnishing two 14 Ft. ladders, but is working that day  and will
not be onsite.  John and I do not climb ladders  anymore.  Let me know if
you are available to help.  Would  decorating the tree on Saturday December
3rd be a better time.  We  would need to do this in the early afternoon to
be able to light in that  night at 5:00 PM.  The Gloriana Carolers are
planning to sing at the  lighting that evening at 5 so I hope that many of
you will support the  event.  I am placing an announcement in the
newspapers and circulating  posters in the community about the event.  We
are planning to give out  candy canes to all the kids that show up for the
lighting.

We are  also planning Santa to be at Rotary park by the tree on Saturday
December  17th from 1-4 PM.  I have arranged for a Santa Costume, but need
a  volunteer to fill it.  We plan to take pictures of kids with Santa,  have
face painting and give out candy canes on December 17th.  Let's  make this
a special treat for the kids and families in our  community.

Let me have your input ASAP so plans can be  finalized.

I have attached copies of the Christmas Tree and Santa  Posters for your
information.
