Dear Fellow Rotarians,
It's that time of year again when Youth Services within our club kicks into
gear! What this means for you is a new opportunity (or a continued
relationship) with the youth in our Mendocino area. I say area, because as
you might recall we do provided dictionaries, leadership trainings,
scholarships, and sponsor the MHS Interact club, but we also have supported
other youth benefiting projects- like the playground equipment (Sensory
Integration swing) for the Rainbow preschool. I am very open to your ideas
for how we can be of service to youth.

If you want to participate again this year, or join this committee for the
first time, please send me an email response.

My goal is to have quarterly meetings for the committee, and at least one
of those will include the scholarship selection meeting. I am planning our
first general meeting of the year for September, directly after our regular
meeting at the Hill House, for convenience. I have already been in
communication with the school and the district and ordered the dictionaries
for 3rd graders.

As I am the president elect, I will not be able to carry on the Youth
Services position next year at this time. This is the perfect time for one
of our club members to learn the ropes, and see the many rewards that
working with our you provides.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Please take a look at the attachment on Youth Services.

Warmly,
Donna
