Hi everyone,
The question came up at our table at last weeks meeting. "Who should I
turn the money in to- for the ticket sales, Harold?"
My recommendation is that if it is a check, or checks, mail to:
Mendocino Rotary Club
PO Box 102
Mendocino, CA 95437
If cash, of course it will need to be given to Harold.
Another question that came up, " Who should they make out the checks to?"
The answer is: Mendocino Rotary Foundation (which is a 501c3). Most
everyone would like to make a donation with a tax benefit, so have them made out
to our Mendocino Rotary Foundation.
Do you have thoughts regarding these questions? President John, can we
bring up this topic for brief clarification at our next meeting? We finally
have s system established for accepting checks for Rotary Park and the
Foundation, and giving thank you notes in a timely manner. We could discuss, or
maybe run a scenario, because I expect I'll hear some questions, such as
how much of the funds raised from Casino Night are to go for various
projects? I am wondering if we are going to use percentages.
Thanks,
Donna
