I believe voting by email is not appropriate.
We are not able to ask questions  nor have a discussion.

With all of the recent discussion about our future fundraising events and lower expected income we need to have more information regarding the finances of our club in order to make an educated decision. 

I respectfully implore the Board to withdraw the vote by email of this issue and schedule a time at a regular meeting for discussion and a vote.

</div>Good Morning Mendocino Rotarians,

As proposed at the Sept. 4 meeting, we are asking Club members for a simple "Yes" or "No" vote on forgiving the loan made to Rotary Park. 

Forgiving the loan means that any future money raised can go directly to park improvements, rather than paying back the Club. The loan would become the club's contribution to this major community service project.

The Club Board of Directors has approved forgiving the loan.

Please send me your vote by 10 am Thursday. Reply to me only -- do not hit reply all which sends your vote to the entire club.
