[Rotary] This week's meeting is a must-attend meeting for all Mendocino Rotarians

Dear Rotarians,

You will be hearing from President John about this meeting, but let me -- as fundraising chair and PR chair and assistant membership chair -- say that our club is at a crossroads. This meeting is critical to our future direction.

Questions that will come up for a vote and / or discussion

1. Do we forgive the Rotary Park debt?

2. Which fundraisers to we want to keep (which ones do we have the time and resources to put on)?

3. Do we continue with what we have been doing (4th of July BBQ, Casino Night, Raffle, Dictionary Program, scholarships, non-profit grants)?

4. Are we a check-writing club or are we a hands-on community service club or a combination of both?

5. Do we want to / have time to sell tickets for raffles, etc.

No doubt there will be other questions and directions to consider. 

We need all hands on deck to help decide our direction. This is particularly important given that 24 of our 38 active members have day jobs and are really busy making a living. 
Where is the "sweet spot" that will be benecial to all concerned. How can we give back to the community and meet our Rotary goals given that our members have so many other personal and community commitments.
