[Rotary] Rotary Conference Plea

Dear Members,

My first week in office and I am already begging.

Our club will be receiving honors (so far no specifics) at the banquet
May 17, this Saturday evening.  I have received several phone calls
from District officers hoping that we will have a representative in
attendance.  We are one of only two clubs not attending from our
district of 40+ clubs.

I cannot make it.  If ANYONE could just make the Saturday banquet in
Rohnert Park, the club will pay your expenses (single or couple)
including one night hotel.  Alternately the entire conference Fri PM
thru Sunday is an option, but not necessary.  A Friday or Sunday
appearance would be better than nothing if you can't make it Saturday.
 You will also incur the lasting gratitude of your president, indeed
of your entire club!

Please reply ASAP even to discuss a maybe.   This offer is open to our
oldest and our newest members.  Please don't send apologies for not
being able to go.
