Seventeen have purchased ?? !! That means EIGHTEEN HAVE NOT. I sold
two more today. $3800 Each member got two tickets to sell or buy. Given a
MINIMUM of effort they could sell two and buy one./

I have told everyone I solicited that the drawing would be on April 12 at
Casino night. Delaying the drawing would not put any spirit those who have
done nothing up until now. John

Hi john,

We have sold 143 tickets. We have 57 to sell. Tom is going to address the
club regarding our responsibilities on Thursday. As of now we have raised a
little over $7,000. Seventeen Rotarians have purchased tickets.

Thanks
LaDonna

I have sold $3500 of them. I know many Rotarians won't buy ONE. They
need a
scolding or at least a pep talk on Thursday. John A few said they don't
like the Eagle. They miss the point of why we are doing this.

Hi John,

I believe that we decided if we had not sold the $10,000 worth of tickets
for the Wheatley Allen that we would hold the raffle at the Gala for the
high rollers in May. We hope to sell more tickets for the Eagle at Casino
night but it is Imperative that we sell all of the tickets. I will have a
better count after I talk with Kathleen this week I think we only have about
$5000-6000 collected so far. My fear is that we will get low turnout for
Casino Night and not be able to get enough to honor the gift that Wheatley has
given us. It is a stunning piece and he deserves the recognition for his
work. Right now all of the tickets would fit in a coffee can.

Thanks
LaDonna

Thank you very much. John C and Ladonna, I'll see that it is taken to
Casino night. Perhaps we ought to collect all the tickets earlier. JohnP

Hi John---It’s found!! Study Club used it for Country Christmas (Thank
You, Rotary). Joe Sparks has it now (fortunately borrowed from Dean Watson’s
storage shed—fortunate since Dean is at Stanford with Shirley who is
having two successive back surgeries there). It will be dropped by your house
on Tuesday. Ruth

Some one has the SMALL raffle drum that we don't use for the big raffle
because it is too small for 10,000 tickets

It would be perfect for the Allen Eagle Raffle. WHO HAS IT ??
Johin
