[Oceanwavequilters] Communication Chair Position

Hello OWQ friends,



I am stepping down from my position as Communication Chair because of a new development with my health. As many of you know, I am a 10 survivor of breast cancer and was enjoying life until it I discovered that I have a totally new cancer in my left breast. Thank goodness for annual mammogram screenings! I need to concentrate on my health and conquering this dreaded disease, once again, so I am officially stepping down from the Communication Chair position at Ocean Wave Quilters.



Is there one of you that would be willing to take over, especially now that it is a busy time close to our 2026 quilt show? Even if it is for a temporary period, any help would be great. Sharon Lau has been an amazing support person for me, but I don't feel I can really concentrate on what is immediately needed.
