The Sacramento Modern Quilt Guild is pleased to announce Artful Improv Medallion:  A Workshop with Cindy Grisdela.

Date:  Sunday, August 2, 2026

Time:  9:00 am to 3:30 pm

Place:  This is a VIRTUAL WORKSHOP via Zoom.  A link for the workshop will be sent to registered participants.




Cindy is a nationally and internationally known artist and instructor.  Join us and learn to create your own original quilts with no pattern using improvisational piecing techniques.  Learn to let go of the "rules" and piece blocks in an intuitive, free-form fashion.  Explore contemporary improv log cabin style blocks, improv curves, angled stripes, insets and curved strips.  You'll use the elements you create to design an Improv Medallion quilt, or use your imagination to put the pieces together in your own way.
