There are 3 different colors: dark, medium and light labeled for your convenience. I have a list of 29 guild members willing to help with the OWQ Country Store raffle quilt. Please pick up a packet ASAP to make the formation blocks for this quilt. Each packet is labeled with a number, 1-15. Please sign out your packet on the sheet attached to the clipboard in the box so I can track the packets. There should be enough material in each packet to make at least 3 blocks. If your cannot make 3, please return the material with your completed blocks so others can make more. If you make 3 or more, you can keep the left overs for your stash. If you didn't get a packet because they were all gone, we still have things you can do to assist with making the quilt. Our goal is to have all completed blocks returned by The March guild meeting on Sunday, March 8. Sooner is even better! The ultimate goal is to complete this quilt by July 12 in preparation for the 2027 quilt show year!Thank you for being willing to give of your time, energy and wonderful sewing talent!!!!!*** The written instructions in the packet state the unfinished size should be 6 1/4 inches, but it will be 6 3/4 inches unfinished, and 6 1/4 inches finished. As always, DO NOT TRIM THE BLOCK!Shari Lyonslybra at mcn.org707-684-0831I figured many of you will be going to Sew-n- Sew on Wednesday- Saturday to take advantage of their sale so I thought this would be a convenient time for you to pick up your packet! Special thanks to Dee Goodrich for helping me choose the fabrics & write the pattern instructions and to Sharon Lau for testing the instructions!
