Consider this a Newsletter Addendum - somehow I didn't get Elizabeth the information for the revised proposed budget that should have gone in the newsletter.
Proposed 2025-2026 Budget - Sharon L.As discussed at the June meeting, the Board felt that additional discussion was needed on the proposed budget before a vote of the guild membership to approve was taken. Attached, please find the revised budget.
The changes to this budget are: Service expense was updated with a recent batting purchase.A donation of $750 will be made to the Senior Center.The money collected for the Sew n Sew Challenge will now be handled in the same way as the money collected for the Brown Bag activity. All money collected will be paid out as prizes (so the budget item is, essentially, a "wash" - what comes in gets paid out).
If you have any questions prior to the July meeting, feel free to ask the Treasurer, Sharon L., or any Board member. We will be taking a vote at the July meeting to ask for your approval of this budget.
