Our friend and fellow Guild member, Stella Regalia, died last night at her home in Windsor. She had been struggling with health issues and coping with the recent death of her son Michael. After repeated stints in the hospital her heart gave out.Stella was the featured artist at the 2017 Fort Bragg Quilt Show. She made colorful bright quilts (often very large!) with red being her favorite color. She texted me about her current project, an Exploding Pineapple quilt with a Halloween theme, yesterday afternoon.
