[Oceanwavequilters] meeting updates.

 Hi everyone, I would just like to touch base after getting a report back
from the meeting, so here are a few things, \
1- I see it was voted on for ornaments this year! so fun very excited, so
it will be like a white elephant exchange, i will have a tree at the
meeting and everyone can come hang their 1 homemade ornaments on the tree,
you will put your name on a ticket, i will randomly draw names to come up
and pick an ornaments off the tree, i know some people say they think we
should make more but there is a lot going on this meeting, a large group of
people are doing round robins and brown bags are due at the holiday party
also, and the holiday party is a potluck so we will all be making food so
in spirit of getting the most people involved in ornaments exchange we will
be making 1 each.

2- The holiday party is a potluck, i was told the meeting had a good turn
out of people but unfortunately there was only 9 people signed up to bring
food to the potluck hoping we can get some more people to sign up to bring
food, this event is not budgeted to be catered so if we don't have sign ups
we don't have snacks, i also saw that a few people commented that they
don't get to eat the snacks cause they aren't labeled and they have
dietary restrictions so maybe those people could bring some snacks to
contribute and we can all bring labels for our food so people can know if
they fit into their diet ie: gluten free, dairy free, nut free, sugar free,
you get my drift. you can all email me if you would like me to put you on
the list for the potluck. Thank you.

 3- I was told the retreat was brought up even know the next one isn't
until march, i hadn't announced the dates cause as you may know these jobs
we volunteer for are sometimes time consuming especially with our regular
everyday lives, i appreciate the grace and patients you show all of us who
volunteer our time to try and make everyone's time here at the ocean wave
quilters enjoyed and joyous. The retreat will be held at the Albion
field station on march 26th-29th, i sign up sheet will be put up after the
