And congratulations to you as well, Sharon, since you also have two delightful quilts on display.

It is a lovely show and I hope everyone is able to go see it! And if you’re looking for a place to eat after you see the show, there is a terrific ramen place just down the street!

“Made in Mendocino” continues at the Willits Center for the Arts through Sunday, September 24th. Howard and I went last weekend - and it is definitely worth your while to go!

Our pieces - we are 5 of the 20 quilters county-wide who were accepted into the show - display beautifully compared to our colleagues! (Gary Martin, the Director and Curator, is a wizard with lighting.)

Laura Fogg has some, as usual, thought-provoking pieces, and there are some more light-hearted works like an adorable black and white dog portrait and a lovely jellyfish out of vintage crocheted doilies and ribbon.

The exhibit is open 11-5 Friday through Sunday. No admission fee, but donations are welcomed. The Art Center is at 71 E. Commercial St. in Willits, next to the theater and across from the fire station.

Congratulations to Lisa Carter, Evelyn Harris, Kathy McCormick, and Tracy Salkowitz on a beautiful exhibit!

Sharon Lau
