Fellow Quilters,
The March Newsletter is attached.  There are fun and interesting articles
and specific information about our upcoming events, including an article
submitted by Marcia W. about National Quilting Month.   If you have any

March is National Quilting Month with March 18th (the third Saturday in
March) designated as National Quilting Day.
How did this holiday come about? The National Quilting Association (NQA)
began sponsoring National Quilting Day with a resolution passed by members
attending the 22nd Annual Show in Lincoln, Nebraska, in June 1991. The NQA
designated the third Saturday in March as National Quilting Day, but over
the years it has been unofficially expanded to the entire month of March
Here are some ways to celebrate ;

Hang your quilts outdoors or a window

Sign Up for a class,(even an on-line class)
Visit your local Quilt Shop Sign up for a retreat Clean up your sewing room Fat
quarter swap

Listen to a sewing/quilting podcast

*Watch Quilting Shows or Videos*

Challenge yourself by learning a new technique, such as paper piecing
