Hello All,This is a short note to follow up on the snail trail block.First, you need   3    4-inch squares cut on the diagonal.
When you sew together the 4patch, make sure that the blue squares are on the upper left and bottom right of the block.
The 3 1/2 inch half square triangles are a tad too large for the 4patch square. You can cut them down a smidge before sewing them to the square, or you can do what I did ——after sewing them to the square, just put your ruler’s quarter inch mark on the points of the square and trim the excess.
Everything else is fine. I asked Paula to make one just to be sure. 
The 4patch should measure 3 inches finished. The next square up should be approx. 4 1/2 inches. The 3rd square up should be 6 inches finished.
