[Oceanwavequilters] Fwd: Volunteers needed

I got the email below this morning from Jody at the Senior Center - they really are desperate for volunteers to serve lunch. If you think you can help with this, please let me know.



One thing that you do need to know about volunteering as a food handler is that you will need to complete a food handler certification course. You can do this on-line - Jody says it takes about and hour and a half, and at the end you print out a certificate indicating you have successfully completed the course.



Please share this need for volunteers with your friends and neighbors. The Senior Center is such an important part of our community - we really need people to step up to help!

Hi Sharon

If you could send a few volunteers for the serving of lunch to our seniors. We need as many as we can get. Mondays are empty. 2-4 volunteers on Mondays.2 volunteers on Thursdays,2 on Fridays. May need more, not sure yet how its going to turn out. Its all new for all of us. Thank you very much
