Pam Salyards shared that she is making masks for Pacific Physical Therapy ; they are in need of them for their patients who are getting therapy.

The site she used is:

There's a great 7-minute video showing you exactly how to make the masks. You will need cotton fabric and 1/4" flat elastic. Based on feedback from Pacific Physical Therapy, Pam has modified the instructions to include a piece of flannel in between the cotton for more protection, to make the elastic 6 1/2" (instead of 7"), and to use 2 different cotton prints so the therapists can tell which side was touching the patient's face, in case the mask has to be removed for some reason.

I've attached a .pdf of the modified instructions.

If you don't want to make masks, but have 1/4" flat elastic that you are willing to share, please contact Pam at 972-5423.

Once you have made the masks, you can drop them off at Pacific Physical Therapy in the Boatyard Shopping Center.
