OK  One more correction, I’ll get this right yet.  The length of the half
star with seam allowance is 7” .  You will be cutting off the little peaks
of the triangle.

Is that clear for everyone?

Bright contrasting blues and yellows work best.  I’m attaching photos.

 

One half star (without seam allowance)  is 2 ¾” wide, 6 ½” long. 

(with seam allowance) 3 ¼” side, 7 ½” long.

 

IMPORTANT:  When printing your paper piecing patters, make sure it’s true
size, not “print to fit on page”.  If you don’t get these dimensions from
your pattern, let me know. I will mail you 4 templates.

Attached is the pattern for the Hexed stars.  Make enough paper piecing
patterns for your starts.  You need 2 per star. Do not remove the paper, and
do not piece them together.

It was great seeing everyone yesterday on Zoom.
