Thought this might be of interest:

The Northern California/Nevada region of SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Associates) is having its regional meeting at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts, where the current exhibits - "Art Quilts" and "How Did They Do That?" - will be discussed. Description is below.

Saturday, February 1, 2020       11:00 AM– 2:00 PM
Sebastopol Center for the Arts Auditorium, 282 S. High Street, Sebastopol, Ca
This is just a reminder that our regional meeting is coming up soon.

The artists with work in the exhibits Art Quilts and How Did They Do That? will discuss their work in an artist walk. We will meet in the auditorium. This program will be open to the public so that all who are interested in art quilts will be able to hear the artist’s thoughts on their work. The program will begin at 11:00. After a short lunch break (bring you lunch) our members will come back to the auditorium to continue the meeting where Catherine Devriese, Creative Director of the Art Center, and jurors, Jen Landau and Bill Yoes will speak about their process and answer any questions. Carol Deards, coordinator of the How Did They Do That? exhibit, will share the pros and cons of Local Connections doing a showcase exhibit.

Bring your lunch, show and tell, and name tag.
