Let's all hang a quilt outside our house on Saturday!




Please Join the Quilt Hanging Day on April 18th



Dear Quilting Friends,

 

Members of Amador Valley Quilters will be hanging quilts outside their homes this Saturday, April 18th.



This is our way of spreading some joy and sharing our art with community and to say that we are all in this together and need to do whatever we can to make the shelter in place fun.

 

Quilters around the country are making masks for our health care workers and this is also a way to say thank you to both the quilters and the workers.



Since we undoubtedly will not be participating in any quilt shows anytime soon, we thought it would be fun to share within our neighborhoods.



We know this is short notice but hopefully you can get the word out to your members and ask them to please join us.

 

It doesn’t have to be elaborate. Hang one or more. Whatever you would like.



Let's show everyone what we already know.  Quilters are awesome!
