I got the following message from Deb Kvaka in Laytonville - their quilt show is this weekend:


  
Hi Friends
This is your annual unsolicited invitation to our Quilty Pleasures Free Quilt Show-- this coming weekend,  Sat, Aug 25 10-4 and Sun, Aug 26 11-4, behind the Fat Quail Quilt Shop on Hwy 101 in Laytonville. 

On Saturday Ronnie Craine will be there with his antique washing machines, and will demonstrate how they work.
We will have tickets for this year's raffle quilt and for some great raffle baskets including pets, baby, wine, chocolate, and others.  All profits go towards local scholarships.  This year we gave out 6 scholarships.
You can vote for the quilts you like best in a variety of categories.
I hope you all can come and help support the community.
