<p>This month, Trump and his Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke, confirmed plans to auction off more than 51,000 acres of public lands for fracking right next to the Bears Ears National Monument in Southern Utah.

<p>These plans come on the heels of Zinke’s announcement that he has recommended all or parts of Bears Ears National Monument be eliminated.
</p>

<p>The Bears Ears National Monument is our nation’s newest Monument and a cultural treasure. It’s deep canyons, iconic buttes, and Ancestral Puebloan ruins are unmatched and they’re a majestic symbol of American history and our legacy of public lands.

<p>Apparently, though, Trump and Zinke couldn’t care less about reverence for the sacred.
