The World Bank says it will not fund nuclear power instead giving development money to sustainable energy projects. Kim and UN leader Ban Ki-moon outlined efforts to ensure all people have access to electricity by 2030. Please contact your two U.S. Senators, and urge they stop S. 1240 dead in its tracks, and that they instead pass a law requiring Hardened On-Site Storage. U.S. Senators Wyden, Murkowski, Feinstein, and Alexander ignored thousands of public comments by introducing legislation last June which neglects nationwide calls for Hardened On-Site Storage of high-level radioactive waste (HLRW).
