Shortly after the Bureau of Land Management halted all new federal oil lease sales in California for the remainder of the fiscal year.<br>
<br>Now, also in response to our lawsuit, the BLM has launched a new environmental analysis of fracking in California. This will be the first-ever statewide analysis of the threats from fracking in our state. <br><br>We need to make sure that the current moratorium on new oil leases for California's public lands stays in place while these important studies are completed.<br>
