I do know about the lower Miocene Skooner Gulch formation in a narrow strip south of Galloway Gulch. As we knew all along the MLPA doesn't protect the "marine protected areas" from oil and/or gas drilling in the ocean. Catharine Reheis-Boyd, who did her work well getting the MLPA passed in Southern and Northern California, is out promoting fracking as safe.
