<DIV><FONT size=2>Letter to the Editor;</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>About ten members of Occupy Mendocino attended the 10/16/12
Board of Supervisors Meeting in FortBragg. We presented a solution to the
foreclosure crisis inviting them to a Foreclosure Town Hall Meeting where CJ
Holmes would present information, basically this.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>The Board of Supervisors, who oversee landtitle matters have
the option of HALTING FORECLOSURES BY "EMINENT DOMAINING" THE TROUBLED
SECURITIZED LOANS AND DEMANDING PROOF OF TITLE from the lenders.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Clear title cannot be proven due to the millions of forged
robo-signed-assignments and trustee substitutions already in county records
prepared by banks and their lawyers that deem themselves above the
law.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>With no lender to prove ownership of these loans there would
be no one to compensate. For just the cost of clerical work the county could
reissue modified loans to property owners, the county could take possession of
both the securitized loans and the foreclosures based on them. Plenty of low
cost credit would be available for county projectse </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2> With the establishment of a public bank,
real estate markets could return to normal. Low cost credit would be
available for county projects, the wealth of the community would remain in
the community for community benefit.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>We urge everyone to attend Foreclosure Town Halls,
particularly elected representatives as these solutions to the foreclosure
crisis are the people's golden opportunity to stop the sabotage and destruction
of their communities, jobs, hard won family finances for their
future.</FONT></DIV></FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML>
