Dear O/Mers.<BR>
Yesterday at our meeting Rex brought up an issue about COR losing accredation and failing here and in Eureka both. I was disturbed, so went online to fine out what's up, but there are schedules of classes, links to programs, and not a mention of any problems. However, I clicked on the link about collefe costs and was appaled to find that for a California resident living off-campus the fee is $14,971 per semester, and for non-residents the fee is $20,563!! How can anyone afford an education at that rate? Especially if Pell grants are gone, which is a threat. What can we do?? Our kids deserve education but most have to leave town to get school they can afford, and most parents cannot help the kids, they are broke.<BR> <BR>
