does anyone have history of Bea Erikson who's determined activism work created the Senior Center in Fort Bragg?<div><br></div><div>I think it would behoove the current SC board to learn the history of the facility and agency which they currently oversee and to perhaps better understand that their responsibility /must/ be non-partisan and based in service to the many not the few; the less able not the well-heeled and that it's not a country club but a community center....</div>
<div><br></div><div>I do find myself insulted and offended by the (purported) behaviors of this board and would like to help them have a consciousness shift.</div><div><br></div><div>Probably we will find that a majority of present day seniors who use the SC are not progressive or liberal or even thoughtful?? If so, we need to be aware of that reality.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Bea and Oscar Erikson (sp?) were wonderful people and worked tirelessly to make things better for the many. Let's try to help honor their memory and intentions.</div><div><br></div><div>Jessie Lee<br clear="all">
