Dear Occupy,
Sorry to say The Occupy sponsored annual Peace Day is not happening. this year.
Several reasons: Covid worries and our little Howaed Ennis Peace Garden.
at Senior Center garden was uplifted and in ruins by construction work.
This would have been difficult. Look to next year as our coming back!
Please support the Women in Black and their great work fostering Peace and Peace Day.
See note below: Richard for Occupy

> This week, Sept. 3, we will gather at corner of Main and Laurel for WIB plus a reminder to others that the International Day of Peace is officially September 21. This day, also known as Peace Day is observed around the world each year. Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace. internationaldayofpeace.org
