The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps 42 million people afford the food they need to survive. That’s a whopping one in eight Americans – and often our country’s most vulnerable individuals, like seniors, children and people with disabilities.

But right-wing extremists are gearing up to attack food security for working families: Right now, Congress is considering a 2018 Farm Bill that takes SNAP away from 1.2 million people – and slashes benefits by $17 billion over 10 years.
