Irene Malone leads the  Fort Bragg Freedom Singers  In   “We Shall Overcome “ in Spanish and English At the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration January 15 2018. The program included a reading of Dr. King’s “I have a dream “ speech by Will Smith and a panel discussion featuring area coast and California Conservation Corp Youth.
The event was a community wide partnership followed by potluck lunch and commemorative birthday cake honoring Dr. King. prior to the event a March in the rain through Fort Bragg took place for peace and justice.
