The Press Democrat along with the North Bay Business Journal and the
Petaluma Argus Courier, and all affiliated websites. This returned the
Press Democrat to local ownership after nearly three decades."

According to the Press Democrat April 16, 2018, article Press Democrat
Publisher Steve Falk,said “ We aren’t reporting to corporate types. We
aren’t reporting to Wall Street. We are reporting to readers.” Falk said.
