> UESF officers will hold a press conference at Wells Fargo Headquarters in San Francisco on April 20th to relay our deep concern with the recent findings that detail the banks' relationship as the primary lender to the National Rifle Association.

> This coordinated action will take place in multiple cities across the country calling on Wells Fargo to demand the NRA take action to support reforms that would reduce the risk of gun-related deaths in this country.

> This past Saturday, UESF members gathered at John O'Connell High School for a day of workshops, speeches and activities geared to support and strengthen SFUSD educators.

> During the conference, members attended grievance and organizing 101 trainings that covered how to organize effective worksite structures to enforce the contract and defend members’ rights. Members also multiple opportunities to use QTEA hours that ranged from a number of topics from Printmaking for Kids, to Cultural Competence to Restorative Practices. Every session also contained a number of interactive, political workshops as we gear up for two very important elections in June and November.
