Learn the Widely-Censored Truth about Our Nation's Health Care System -- and How You Can Avoid Getting Ensnared In It By Staying Healthy
----------------------------

Program Overview: Come join us for a public showing of a new movie that big corporate health organizations don't want you to see. "What The Health" is the groundbreaking follow-up film from the creators of the award-winning movie "Cowspiracy." The film follows intrepid filmmaker Kip Anderson as he uncovers the secret to preventing, and even reversing, multiple chronic diseases, and as he investigates why the nation's leading health organizations don't want you to know about it. With heart disease and cancer the leading causes of death in America, and the incidence of diabetes at an all-time high, the film reveals possibly the largest cover-up of our time. With the help of medical doctors, researchers, and consumer advocates, the movie "What The Health" exposes the collusion and corruption in government and big business costing us trillions of health care dollars, and keeping us sick. Audiences will be both dismayed and shocked to learn about the roles played by pharmaceutical companies, agribusiness, and processed animal food companies.

We will have speakers who will address how you can avoid the expensive and dangerous nightmare that the American health care system has become, and an opportunity to taste a healthy and delicious vegan dinner prepared by local chefs.

Facilitators/Speakers/Chefs: Facilitating this meeting will be Petra Schulte, a local nutrition educator. She will be joined by Bob Tognoli, who will speak about his past health crisis, and what it's like for him now to be on a plant-based diet. Also speaking will be Maria Teresa Alvarez, who attended Dr. Esselstyn's Heart Disease Reversal Program in Cleveland, Ohio. Those speakers will provide a report on how to reverse heart disease and otherwise stay healthy with diet. Additionally offering a few remarks will be James Sant, a plant-based foods educator from Living Light. The catered vegan dinner will be prepared by Chef Sadhi Berkow, Chef Sammy Martinez, and Chef Dina Martinez (all from Ravens Restaurant at the Stanford Inn) plus Chef James Sant (from Living Light).

Date/Time Overview: Sunday, October 15th, 2017, 5:00-8:30PM; No RSVP is needed.

Detailed Schedule: 5:00PM mingle and enjoy non-alcoholic drinks ($1/each), 5:30PM catered vegan dinner ($10/person, first come first served), 6:30PM speakers on plant-based diets and health, and 7:00PM free movie showing.
