Dear Ann,

I'm Jack from Common Cause, and we're teaming up with MoveOn members like you to hold President Trump accountable.

And right now, we urgently need you to speak out: because Congress has the power to make President Trump’s tax returns public -- but Speaker Paul Ryan is refusing to even hold a vote so his fellow Republicans don’t have to go on the record.

But this Congress can’t keep shirking its duty to hold the President accountable. There’s a special legislative measure called a “discharge petition” that forces a floor vote on a bill, even if the Speaker won’t call one.

We just need a majority of the House to sign on -- and nearly 190 lawmakers of the 218 we need already have. And any lawmaker who hasn’t yet signed the discharge petition must do so immediately -- or we’ll know they’re not serious about holding President Trump accountable.
