Wells Fargo’s “War on the Poor” and communities of color MUST be stopped- from foreclosing on thousands of families, to defrauding millions of customers, to funding the Dakota Access Pipeline, they continue to wreak havoc on our communities!

After falling for a predatory "pick-a-pay" loan from Wells Fargo, my home was foreclosed out from under me and sold to Michael Marr of Community Realty & Investments - currently facing a federal indictment for rigging foreclosure auctions. I was traumatically evicted and given 20 minutes to gather my life's belongings. What's worse is that I'm not the only one. Richmond ACCE member Genny Zentalla was also preyed on by Wells Fargo.

Genny has been battling with Wells Fargo for more than 4 years trying to get them to give her an affordable loan modification. She refinanced her home in 2005 with Wachovia (later bought by Wells Fargo) and received a predatory pick-a-payment loan. At 63 years old and living on Social Security, Keep Your Home California has approved Genny for their principal reduction program three times. But Wells Fargo refuses to accept the KYHC fund which would help make Genny's loan affordable. Now Wells Fargo wants Genny to pay more than $5,000 a month or face eviction.
