In case you did not get a copy of the Cleanup plan for the Millpond and wetlands, here is a copy. Ed, George, Sue, Rex and I spoke to the City Council and they assure us that in spite of connecting the Coastal Trail before cleanup, there will be a thorough cleanup job done with removal of the worst toxic soil and so on - but I see on this paper that there are other "alternatives" they may consider, and so it is important to speak up about removing the wooden dam and spillway to the Ocean, to get the groundwater cleaned (not by "natural attenuation"), and demanding a real thorough cleanup be done. The workshop is 7/25/17, but you may comment before. Let's not go along with a sloppy job where they leave problems for our future City to deal with!
