Heads up Fort Bragg, next Thursday, Feb 2 at 3-5 DTSC is having an open house to speak to us about the cleanup of the toxic Millpond.  I fear they want to do as little as possible, as they are writing a "comfort letter" promising to do some cleanup after the Coastal Trail connects around the Millpond, and as we know, there are 38 feet of toxic Dioxin sludge, along with heavy metals and PCBs, petroleum residues and some very scary solvents and chemical "of concern".  See the agenda the City sent out about the 6pm Council Meeting following the DTSC public meeting.  We all need to voice our concerns and get DTSC to agree to do a thorough cleanup of the ponds, removal of the seismically fragile Dam, and do a wetlands cleanup as well.  Ann
