This fellow came to Fort Bragg long ago when Alliance for Democracy was doing Town Hall meetings run by Tom Wodetsky.  He is very engaging and informed, and would make a good Occupy Mendocino event.  Richard, are you interested in this as a fundraising event to spur the interest of citizens? John, what do you think?  We can discuss at Saturday's meeting. Ann

Hello All;

This is going to about 50 Mendocino County people.

David Barsamian, Producer and Host of Alternative Radio and author of several books will be in our county on tour in early October. Interviewing the most brilliant and insightful people from around the world, David is extremely knowledgable. His articulate analysis sprinkled with humor makes him a very engaging speaker. Typically he brings a selection of books to purchase.

I’m looking for venues for his talks. Those could be existing meetings or classes where he could be a guest speaker, or a speaking event that is produced. If you have other ideas, teach classes, do radio, or belong to an organization that has speakers, please contact me.

It is ideal if donations or admissions would give David at least $100 per engagement.

Also tour related, I’m looking overnight hosts and some transportation. Again, contact me if you can help in that way.

And last, we are raising about $400 for his transportation from Colorado, plus some additional for tour expenses. If you can make a donation, any amount is greatly appreciated. Checks can be made out to me and mailed, or my PayPal account using my email address.
