Subject: [MCN-Announce]- Mendocino Coast District Hospital

I have shopped an idea for helping to save OBstetrics at the hospital, and
so far, it goes over pretty well. 

The basic idea is to hold the father of all fundraisers on Father's Day.

So this post is to try and assess community interest in such a thing, and to
recruit community involvement.

We have many organizations on the Mendocino Coast who have LOTS of
experience with fundraising let's bring everybody together and do a big one.

We can have things like a "Dad joke contest" where whoever gets the biggest
groan wins. And since we are unhappy with the board and the hospital CEO,
maybe we should conscript them to be the victims in the ball-dunk booth.

I'd like a short discussion and a move to an action plan if possible. Anyone
else willing to volunteer their time, money, and perhaps their dignity?
