Dear John,
Thanks for being part of the resistance! Every week, people across the country are taking action to protect our communities and our democracy, and it’s making an impact.
Since we know the fight against corporate greed and an unconstitutional administration is a long-term fight, it’s good to have a go-to place for key updates, simple ways to take action, and a sense of community solidarity to keep us inspired and energized to do this important work.
<http://a.cpdaction.org/page/m/33c29daa/54c632c2/25dd305d/436760aa/1872505367/VEsH/> This Sunday night: Join CPD Action and a coalition of allies for the weekly Ready to Resist community call.
Each week on the community call – presented by CPD Action, MoveOn.org, Working Families Party, and People’s Action – several inspiring speakers from various organizations on the front lines will share the latest on what’s happening and how you can get involved.
On tomorrow night's call, Anthony Newby from Neighborhoods Organizing for Change (CPD Action's Minnesota-based partner) will provide a training on effective ways to engage your community members and how to make the most of April's Resistance Recess. Other speakers will address what's next for health care, efforts to block Neil Gorsuch's confirmation to the Supreme Court, Tax Day actions, and more.
Here are the details for this week’s call:
When: Sunday, April 2, at 8pm ET (7pm CT / 6pm MT / 5pm PT)
Who: Victoria Kaplan (MoveOn.org), Heather McGhee (Demos), Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY); Anthony Newby (Neighborhoods Organizing for Change); Luz Sosa (Citizen Action of Wisconsin)

It really inspires me to hear how others are resisting in their states, and to know that collectively, our actions are making a difference. Step by step, we are activating more people power.
Thanks for being in it with us. Let’s <http://a.cpdaction.org/page/m/33c29daa/54c632c2/25dd305d/436760ac/1872505367/VEsF/> connect on Sunday’s call and keep the resistance going strong.
In solidarity,
Andrew Friedman
