[Occupymendocino] Occupymendocino Digest, Vol 1160, Issue 1

1 year seems to be the consensus. The site could be used for the Alternative Newspaper and it would certainly be world wide.
Unless I hear further objections, I’ll ask Jessie - Lee for a check next week.

Dear Occupier,

At yesterday's Occupy meeting, we discussed publishing an alternative
newspaper that focused on coastal issues, government services, and community
opinion. Does this interest you?

If so, would you prefer we:

     published online only?

     printed and racked conveniently?

     published in both formats?

Are you willing to:

     report neighborhood news?

     pen a column?

     help with editorial and design?

     help sell ads?

     help with distribution?

Should the publication:

challenge the Beacon, Advocate and other weeklies?

     encourage controversial writing?

cover all city and county meetings?

cover school board, hospital board, and local sports?

     encourage young writers and artists?

If sufficient interest manifests, you'll learn about it here.

Hi Mark and Richard,
I haven't checked my email for awhile . I say renew it yearly as the group is small and we are struggling to keep the energy up to par. People are dealing with personal situations. However, I did talk to Rennie Innes about either managing the website for us or teaching one of us on how to do it. I need to contact him.
Our next meeting isn't until Nov 5th so I suggest you contact Jessie at 964- 5511 to write a check. We are still giving out our Occupy Cards and telling people to check out the website.
Has anyone else from OM responded?
Peace & Love,
Sheila Dawn
