[Occupymendocino] Sanctuary

At our Occupy meeting this afternoon, we decided to encourage Mayor Turner
and the City Council to declare Fort Bragg a Sanctuary City for Moslems and
immigrants, a proposal Fort Bragg is considering. A letter will be drafted
and signed by Occupy members. Do you want your name (full name or first name
only) added to the list?

 

Let me know before our next meeting (Sat. 12/3 from 12-2 p.m. at the Company
Store) whether you wish to be included in that list. Some of us are wearing
buttons declaring "I am a Muslim" in opposition to Herr Trump's stated
desire to expel all Muslims.

 

We're also looking for a Native American speaker to address the assemblage
for MLK's celebration on 1/16/17. Know anyone?
