Ann Rennacker -
Democracy should be one of the best tools we have to protect the environment. Will you spread the word?
[Where will you be when democracy awakens?]<http://us.greenpeace.org/site/R?i=0UJlAO_--I2NnoD5s4PkAA>
You and 80,000 others took action to fix democracy. Now let's grow this movement!<http://us.greenpeace.org/site/R?i=Q_leZGK9-08sKDJH1DjCUQ>

The movement to fix democracy is gaining strength, and it's because of people like you.
To solve the greatest challenges of our time - including preventing catastrophic climate change - we need a government that works for us. I'm so inspired by you and the 80,000 others who have taken action to demand that government leaders listen to the people, not big money donors, by restoring voting rights and kicking corporate money out of politics.
But we still need more. Help us spread the word about Democracy Awakening - a movement of thousands to rescue our democracy from the hands of the 1%.<http://us.greenpeace.org/site/R?i=z2ZjOMqcb901YEYM_1yUow>
The United States was founded on the principle of a government of, by, and for the people. But for many, their government has never worked for them - or even acknowledged them. From the beginning, Americans have had to fight for representation and equal voice in politics. That struggle isn't over.
Right now, everyday people face more barriers to political participation than at any time since the Voting Rights Act was passed in 1965. Whether it's the outrageous influence of mega-rich donors like the Koch brothers or the attack on voting rights targeting low-income and minority communities, the future of our right to be heard is at stake.
With every single person that joins this movement, we're that much closer to winning the democracy we deserve. Can you help us by sharing this important message?<http://us.greenpeace.org/site/R?i=imBh1BYI0wKKw2KTmoN2Sg>
<http://us.greenpeace.org/site/R?i=kQa6GPD9N8ZX3PEPsXlasg>To win, we know we're going to need strength in numbers. That's why thousands of people will join together in Washington, DC this April - many of them pledging to risk arrest - to bring our demand for a just democracy straight to Congress.
As we head into a major election, this fight is too important to lose. We need everyone across the country, whether you can make it to DC in person or not, rallying around this chance to fix our broken democracy. Today this is a movement of thousands - together we can make it a movement of millions.
Let's give Congress the wake up call it needs. Help us spread the Democracy Awakening call far and wide!<http://us.greenpeace.org/site/R?i=pB4k4DgC4ZBCD_gBJAtLQA>

PS: Want to go even further for the Democracy Awakening movement? Take your message straight to the Capitol! Thousands of people are joining in Washington, DC from April 16 - 18 to make sure Congress hears our message. I'll be there, will you join me?<http://us.greenpeace.org/site/R?i=-0FkP9IB6NHnWvPj49ndcA>
