Notes from March 5,2016 OM GA meeting:

Also in attendance: Jinx,Irene,Bob, John
Announcing:LWV  Meet and Greet Elected Officials at Caspar Community
Center, March 18, 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
March 13, 4:00-7:00pm, Richard Karch and Band will play at a Dance at
Community Center of Mendocino.

The Town Hall Meeting in Elk, Sunday Feb. 28, reported in the beacon with
good coverage. Suveys were circulated in Hard copy so the audience could
give input about what is important and what should be in the Charter.
Survey will be tallied, results given to the elected commissioners to
consider for the charter.

March 22,Town Hall Meeting at Redwood Valley Grange, 7-9 PM. Speaker:Will
Parrish, Charter Commission Candidate:Jed Davis.
April 16, Town Hall Meeting at Redwood Coast Senior Center in Fort Bragg
from 2-6:00 PM.,a 20 minute Power point slide show will present potential
benefits for a Mendocino County Charter.  Paul Cienfuegos will speak about
Community Rights and the County Charter, Commissioner candidates: Keith
Wyner and Agnes Woolsey.

Hwy 1: Clean up Caspar:Tuesday March 15 at 11:00, rain cancels.
Measures U,V and W will be on the June 7th ballot and will bring out the
voters who have done well when a local initiative is on the ballot.OM will
be registering voters and will have literature from ACLU about the right
to vote for Felons who've served time.
May 1, May Day Event: a Parade with unions. Irene will contact Teachers
Union of M.C.re the best time to join us. John will contact "Bernie for
2016" office to join us and Sheila will contact Alan Graham of IWW
Union.Veterans for Peace will also be invited.Bob will contact Will
Beaumont for signs for the Parade.

March 7, Sunday at 5:00 PM, Democratic Debate at Bernie's Office.
Its time to contact State Legislators about the urgency to stop home
foreclosures by extending the Sunset Clause in the Home Owners Bill Of
Rights HOBOR, expiring on January 1, 2017 unless all the Occupy Groups in
CA orchestrate a letter writing campaign. Dan Baker will research their
websites, please.

Police Court with John Freemont and Jonathan Lehan will meet in September
in order to have a college student on the committee.
March 10,3:15, Meet to develop Teen Court,at Detrick Ctr.Dana St.
Carlos Haciento talked about working with gangs. Comments:How about
dealing with Wall Street Gangs/Cartels facilitated by Federal Reserve
Bank, another cartel.
KZYX Board Election:Sheila will vote for Jeff Wright who is from the Coast
running for Board Member,because he pushes others to the left.
Sheila reported about 3 members of OM attended the CAB meeting March 1, in
Elk. Sheila said the Citizens Advisory Board, cannot meet without a member
of the Public in attendance. Agnes sent Ellen Saxe the protocal for Occupy
Meetings which would relieve pressure from the chair by sharing roles of
Facilitator, Stacker,Secretary and Vibes Watcher  in rotation at each
meeting.
