Bees are dying at alarming rates, and scientists have identified a group
of insecticides called neonicotinoids (“neonics”) as a prime culprit in
these drastic population losses.

Unfortunately, the popcorn industry uses these bee-killing chemicals on
their seeds. That’s why I joined Center for Food Safety in calling on
Orville Redenbacher to source its popcorn from seeds that are NOT coated
in these harmful chemicals. Thanks to our pressure, Pop Weaver and Pop
Secret have already agreed to phase out their use of neonics. Will you
join us?
