Friends,
The Democratic Governor of Virginia recently made headlines when he restored the right to vote to hundreds of thousands of previously-convicted felons -- men and women who have served their time and paid their debts to society.
But Virginia Republicans challenged this motion, and the Court ruled in their favor.
Nevertheless, the Governor remained committed to restoring the voting of these taxpaying Americans, and committed to individually signing 200,000 orders in order to do so.
This Virginia debate has sparked a national conversation on whether reformed felons should be granted the right to vote.
Progressives believe every American should be able to vote, but we need to know where you stand:
