Dear Occupants! ~

Deb VanPoolen is an amazing Activist and Artist!

I met her in 2012 (remember 2012, anyone?) at the Chelsea nee Bradley
Manning Court Martial in Ft. Meade, MD.: she was also there as a courtroom
artist, staying throughout the Entire case. Her work is viewable online:

Prior to the Manning trial, she traveled in Palestine, painting!

Since then, she has wasted no time speaking Truth to Power in her unique
art-fueled way. Her spontaneous denunciation of Gen Betrayus at a Ritzy
fundraising Lunch, netted her some of that jailtime/organizing opportunity
that results so often as a Reward for Conscientious Direct Action!

CUT TO THE CHASE: Deb is currently on bike tour from Oregon to L.A. and
will be in Mendocino at my place in East Westport, from this Sunday {she
just called me from Eureka!} for a few days!

Does anyone have a slamdunk idea for how/where to whip up a quick OCCUPY
meet'n'greet? Until this very hour, I had misunderstood that the Vandana
Shiva event would be on Tuesday... perhaps we can get to Willits ~

BTW: That exciting event is at the WILLITS GRANGE, starting at 6pM...info
missing from the OCCUPY posting I got...!
We shall see...it surely would be a wonderful thing to be able to
introduce this dynamic activist to Y'All!
